Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Flavius Lunca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barateaz UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavius Lunca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Flavius Lunca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Barateaz UFC booed when Oțelul Galați was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Petrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nechifor Aplugăriței's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristide Paraschiv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Ciprian Mardare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavius Bosioc in the 20th minute of the match. Ciprian Mardare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavius Bosioc's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Flavius Lunca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavius Bosioc struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ciprian Mardare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barateaz UFC. Flavius Lunca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 35 in the game by Flavius Lunca from a close distance when the talented Ciprian Mardare managed to make a qualified save. Oțelul Galați's players were relieved. A collision led to Oțelul Galați getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nechifor Petrea hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Oțelul Galați's goalkeeper Ciprian Mardare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavius Lunca. The supporters of Barateaz UFC booed when Oțelul Galați was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Sava didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nechifor Aplugăriței to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alex Tunaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavius Lunca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ciprian Mardare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavius Lunca struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ciprian Mardare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barateaz UFC. After 76 played minutes, Oțelul Galați's Petru Alb shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristide Paraschiv came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oțelul Galați reached it. 83 minutes into the game, Oțelul Galați's Gigi Blaj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristide Paraschiv made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Flavius Lunca came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Barateaz UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavius Lunca couldn't finish the play. Flavius Bosioc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciprian Mardare having to make a save. Oțelul Galați's Ciprian Mardare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Lunca in the 95th minute of play. Mugurel Albeanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciprian Mardare. Oțelul Galați's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Oțelul Galați were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Barateaz UFC side.
