Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th match minute, FC H2 GALATI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Cornea to maneuver through the defense. If Iustinian Datcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 31 in the game by Dragoş Bârlea from a close distance when the talented Toader Lamru managed to make a qualified save. FC H2 GALATI's players were relieved. Toader Lamru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Otopeanu in the 67th minute of the match. Panait Antonescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Huidu having to interfere. Cazimir Otopeanu's late challenge caught a FC H2 GALATI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC H2 GALATI had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
