Manuel Bacius short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Octavian Manole to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Răzvan Spirea was the one to do the kick off. Octavian Manole was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.S. Lazio Craiova's goalkeeper Octavian Manole, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 62 played minutes S.S. Lazio Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Dan Șerbulescu. S.S. Lazio Craiova's Octavian Manole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Baciu in the 68th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Baciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Octavian Manole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Răzvan Spirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Manole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.S. Lazio Craiova's Codruț Zeciu got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in S.S. Lazio Craiova's zone, Manuel Baciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Manole came out of the goal and Manuel Baciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernest Bondrea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dan Șerbulescu. Liberty FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
