After 17 played minutes Dobolt got a freekick which was hit by Horea Baicu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Spirea in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nichifor Răica saved Dobolt from getting behind. Costică Ciolpan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Codrescu got free with Ernest Bondrea in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Liberty FC's Ernest Bondrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Ciolpan in the 90th minute of play. When Ferdinand Codrescu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Dobolt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Codrescu couldn't finish the play. Costică Ciolpan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nichifor Răica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Baciu in the 97th minute of play.
