Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Andrei Horhoianu made the kick off and thus started the match. FC Oltul Rapid's Octavian Latarețu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Oltul Rapid from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Denis Sârbu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costică Ciolpan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Latarețu having to interfere. Ferdinand Codrescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 13th playminute. Gelu Boia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Oltul Rapid booed when Dobolt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Frâncu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Dobolt's Ferdinand Codrescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Oltul Rapid's zone, Costică Ciolpan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Latarețu came out of the goal and Costică Ciolpan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavian Latarețu made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ferdinand Codrescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Costică Ciolpan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionică Stoiciu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ferdinand Codrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Octavian Latarețu made a huge save. Nichifor Răica came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Oltul Rapid's Mihăiţă Focșa. But to his dismay, Mihăiţă Focșa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costică Ciolpan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Dobolt's Costică Ciolpan made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Latarețu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute of the match Paul Proca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavian Latarețu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ferdinand Codrescu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Dobolt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Codrescu couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Codrescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Latarețu was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Costică Ciolpan struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Octavian Latarețu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dobolt. Nichifor Răica made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mihăiţă Focșa sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Oltul Rapid booed when Dobolt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Baicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, FC Oltul Rapid's Andrei Horhoianu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nichifor Răica. Nichifor Răica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Mihăiţă Focșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihăiţă Focșa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. FC Oltul Rapid's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Andrei Horhoianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Dobolt getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Horea Baicu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Dobolt's Nichifor Răica got control of the ball when Mihăiţă Focșa tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dobolt fully deserved thier win.
