After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Panait Antonescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC H2 GALATI's supporters rose to their feet, but Panait Antonescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nichifor Răica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabin Ciocârlan during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sabin Ciocârlan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Codrescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Lamru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Toader Lamru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Codrescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Nichifor Răica successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC H2 GALATI's Toader Lamru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Ciocârlan in the 30th minute of play. Costică Ciolpan spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC H2 GALATI's goal. If Panait Antonescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ferdinand Codrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobolt's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Codrescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Lamru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nichifor Răica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Alupulesei in the 49th minute of play.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Costică Ciolpan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC H2 GALATI's Toader Lamru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horea Baicu came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Toader Lamru could save by the left post. Ferdinand Codrescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Toader Lamru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ferdinand Codrescu scored 0-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toader Lamru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferdinand Codrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Toader Lamru made a huge save. A collision led to Dobolt getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Augustin Popoacă hit a great ball. Panait Antonescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Răica having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Costică Ciolpan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stelian Alupulesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Panait Antonescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Răica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dobolt played a much better game than FC H2 GALATI and deserved their victory. The FC H2 GALATI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
