Ferdinand Bodiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Boerescu having to interfere. Marian Cimpoieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ferdinand Bodiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Cimpoieru made a kick off. Ferdinand Bodiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Boerescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinand Bodiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Druță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Norberg having to interfere. Marian Cimpoieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dacian Boerescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Ikland's protests and gave Iulian Pacurar a yellow card for diving instead. Iulian Pacurar kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Dacian Boerescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Bodiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Marian Cimpoieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Boerescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Plapcea were the better team. Plapcea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
