Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Marian Cimpoieru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plapcea's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Cimpoieru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgil Huidu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Plapcea's Marian Cimpoieru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgil Huidu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferdinand Bodiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Virgil Huidu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Bodiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iordache Vintilă hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Plapcea booed when Santimbru FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Ologu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Cimpoieru struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Virgil Huidu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plapcea. After 34 played minutes Plapcea got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Iordanidis. After 35 minutes, Marius Gârniceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plapcea and the Santimbru FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Marius Gârniceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plapcea's Peter Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Bârlea in the 37th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Cazimir Otopeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santimbru FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plapcea the free kick. A collision led to Santimbru FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cazimir Otopeanu hit a great ball. Santimbru FC's Virgil Huidu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Cimpoieru in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustinian Datcu to make the kick off. Romeo Jerca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Ferdinand Bodiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plapcea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Bodiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Marian Cimpoieru notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Santimbru FC's Virgil Huidu. Virgil Huidu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdinand Bodiu scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Huidu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marian Cimpoieru struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Virgil Huidu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plapcea. 75 minutes into the game, Marian Cimpoieru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Virgil Huidu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Ferdinand Bodiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgil Huidu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Marian Cimpoieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgil Huidu came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Plapcea's Ferdinand Bodiu. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Bodiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Marius Gârniceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Huidu having to interfere. Santimbru FC's Virgil Huidu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Cimpoieru in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Plapcea getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Franc Salah hit a great ball. In the 100th match minute, Santimbru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Bârlea to maneuver through the defense. Plapcea walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
