Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) A hard shot 6 in the game by Ferdinand Bodiu from a close distance when the talented Toader Lamru managed to make a qualified save. FC H2 GALATI's players were relieved. Ferdinand Bodiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Lamru having to make a save. In the 12th minute, Panait Antonescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC H2 GALATI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Stelian Alupulesei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Peter Norberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC H2 GALATI getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Virgil Dulca hit a great ball. Toader Lamru acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Franc Salah. Marian Cimpoieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Plapcea's Mugur Hapaina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Toader Lamru. Toader Lamru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Plapcea's Marian Cimpoieru got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, FC H2 GALATI's goalkeeper Toader Lamru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Bodiu. Ferdinand Bodiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Toader Lamru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Bodiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toader Lamru. FC H2 GALATI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Bodiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 47 minutes into the game, Valeriu Ecobescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Peter Norberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stelian Alupulesei to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Cimpoieru in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toader Lamru saved FC H2 GALATI from getting behind. FC H2 GALATI's Toader Lamru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Cimpoieru in the 56th minute of play. Ferdinand Bodiu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Toader Lamru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plapcea. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Cimpoieru in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toader Lamru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Alupulesei in the 75th minute of play. Toader Lamru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Cimpoieru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Bodiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Lamru having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marian Cimpoieru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plapcea's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Cimpoieru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Lamru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stelian Alupulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Norberg having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Marian Cimpoieru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plapcea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. When the referee ended the match the Plapcea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
