In the 9th minute, Ionică Răducu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Trollibus's Denis Alungulesei didn't even have to move. Flavius Pitiș charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavius Pitiș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Trollibus booed when Fc Canna Jambe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Pitiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Angheluș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Denis Alungulesei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Trollibus got a freekick which was hit by Moise Costache. In the 24th minute Vintilă Tomozei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Chirea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Nichifor Chifu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trollibus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichifor Chifu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vintilă Tomozei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Leontin Chirea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Vintilă Tomozei in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nichifor Chifu got free with Leontin Chirea in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Trollibus fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Trollibus's Nichifor Chifu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Trollibus's Denis Alungulesei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Angheluș in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Vintilă Tomozei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Chirea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Davidescu in the 48th minute of play forced Trollibus's goalkeeper Denis Alungulesei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Adam Davidescu made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Trollibus's Vintilă Tomozei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leontin Chirea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Vintilă Tomozei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trollibus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Tomozei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ionică Angheluș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Alungulesei having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Fc Canna Jambe's Adam Davidescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Alungulesei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Pană kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Trollibus getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Iurie Cârstea hit a great ball. Adam Davidescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adam Davidescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Canna Jambe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
