Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tiberiu Mârza kicked off to start the match. Dorin Dragota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Nistor Ipătescu made a huge save. Nistor Ipătescu made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Dorin Dragota sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pompiliu Buricea during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cringurile's Pompiliu Buricea got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Preda in the 14th minute of play forced Cringurile's goalkeeper Remus Predescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigore Preda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigore Preda during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cringurile booed when Craiova FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Preda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Tiberiu Mârza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Ipătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Predescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Mandache, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cazimir Lopatnicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Remus Predescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Ungheanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Predescu having to interfere. The supporters of Craiova FC booed when Cringurile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Mârza didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The wind increased when Grigore Preda made the kick off in the second half. Grigore Preda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remus Predescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Grigore Preda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute, Iustin Ungheanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Predescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Remus Predescu was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Dorin Ghinescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dorin Ghinescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Luca Mandache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remus Predescu. Cringurile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Mandache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Remus Predescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Lopatnicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Mandache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Remus Predescu made a huge save. Gelu Cîrțu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Remus Predescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Mandache in the 86th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Grigore Preda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craiova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Preda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cazimir Lopatnicu struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Remus Predescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Craiova FC. When the final whistle sounded Craiova FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cringurile.
