Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Șerban Zbârcea kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the chindia tgv defense, Șerban Zbârcea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilie Ploieșteanu. The chindia tgv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilie Ploieșteanu should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the game, chindia tgv's Nae Marioteanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sever Dacian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Dan Macovescu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored URECH's protests and gave Dan Macovescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Vlad Dumitru sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and URECH's Sever Dacian didn't even have to move. Cazimir Mușat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sever Dacian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nae Marioteanu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the chindia tgv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Marioteanu couldn't finish the play. Cazimir Mușat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Dacian having to interfere. Cosmin Arseni kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Sever Dacian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Mușat in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cazimir Mușat made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Mușat in the 52nd minute of play forced URECH's goalkeeper Sever Dacian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Nae Marioteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. chindia tgv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nae Marioteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vali Brezoi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Iurie Balaci managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Mușat in the 59th minute of play forced URECH's goalkeeper Sever Dacian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Cârstea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilie Ploieșteanu having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Marcel Cârstea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, URECH's Șerban Zbârcea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Manuel Romoşan's late challenge caught a chindia tgv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Romoşan helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes URECH got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Romoşan. Sever Dacian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cazimir Mușat's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Marcel Cârstea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, URECH's goal looked a bit too open when Nae Marioteanu came free, but Sever Dacian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sever Dacian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Mușat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Șerban Zbârcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Zbârcea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Ploieșteanu having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cazimir Mușat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
