Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mihail Tulbure took the kick off in the first half of the match. Remus Predescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Ştoia in the 4th minute of play. Dan Ştoia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Tulbure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Remus Predescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Dan Ştoia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Predescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Ştoia in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Predescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mihail Tulbure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Călin Burtescu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cringurile's protests and gave Călin Burtescu a yellow card for diving instead. Călin Burtescu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Cringurile's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Tulbure came free, but Remus Predescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Tulbure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Tulbure struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Remus Predescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Steaua.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiberiu Mârza made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Tiberiu Mârza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes, Nechifor Calciu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cringurile and the SSC Steaua players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nechifor Calciu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Flavius Unciuleanu from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Remus Predescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mihail Tulbure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Ştoia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Remus Predescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Cringurile's Pompiliu Buricea got a free kick in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the game, Dan Ştoia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Remus Predescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, Cringurile's goalkeeper Remus Predescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Ştoia. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSC Steaua's goalkeeper Adrian Bocaneț, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cringurile's Remus Predescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Cringurile from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihail Tulbure kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remus Predescu. That made the score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihail Tulbure in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Predescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorin Dragota kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Narcis Chițu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SSC Steaua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Chițu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Dan Ştoia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Tulbure in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remus Predescu saved Cringurile from getting behind. Remus Predescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Ştoia in the 93rd minute. Mihail Tulbure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Predescu having to interfere. Remus Predescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Tulbure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Bocaneț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiberiu Mârza's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. The Cringurile fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SSC Steaua were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
