Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcu Nicopol took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcu Nicopol got free with Narcis Lupescu in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filip Dragota was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Barsanesti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sabin Cozaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 10 minutes, Eliodor Neicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nastase and the Barsanesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandru Simuţ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narcis Lupescu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Martin Udup hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Nastase was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Simuţ to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Narcis Lupescu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Marcu Nicopol in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Dragota in the 34th minute of play forced Nastase's goalkeeper Narcis Lupescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Martin Udup was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. Martin Udup hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Grigore Jușcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Gabriel Cerghizan hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grigore Jușcă to make the kick off. Narcis Lupescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Nicopol in the 55th minute of play. Nastase's Cezar Nistorescu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Nastase's zone, Marcu Nicopol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Lupescu came out of the goal and Marcu Nicopol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 played minutes Cezar Nistorescu rounded Barsanesti's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Marcu Nicopol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barsanesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Nicopol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Lupescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Barsanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Jușcă came free, but Flavius Țepelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barsanesti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
