Bogdan Spirache charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Spirache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Bogdan Spirache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC VooDoo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Maxim Ciucă hit a great ball. Filip Panin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Lazăr in the 33rd minute of the match. Octav Lazăr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Panin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Iorga in the 39th minute of play. Octav Lazăr might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Panin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octav Lazăr ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Codrin Domnescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Vali Ţiţeica hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Hotin's Octav Lazăr got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octav Lazăr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Panin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octav Lazăr got free with Filip Panin in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Olimpiu Drogoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Socoriceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Drogoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Socoriceanu having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, FC VooDoo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Ciucă to maneuver through the defense. When Nistor Iorga came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hotin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nistor Iorga couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC VooDoo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Maxim Ciucă hit a great ball. Hotin's Nistor Iorga got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octav Lazăr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute of the match Constantin Gruescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filip Panin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Nistor Iorga fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hotin's protests and gave Nistor Iorga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Nistor Iorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Hotin could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC VooDoo throughout the match.
