They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcu Nicopol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hotin booed when Barsanesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Nicopol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Socoriceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Nicopol in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Barsanesti booed when Hotin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Iorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hotin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barsanesti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
