Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Grigore Jușcă started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olimpiu Drogoreanu in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narcis Lupescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC VooDoo's Maxim Ciucă got a free kick in the 4th minute. Grigore Jușcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Filip Panin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Simuţ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Alexandru Simuţ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nastase's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandru Simuţ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Panin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Panin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Jușcă in the 18th minute of play. Alexandru Simuţ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandru Simuţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Filip Panin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC VooDoo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Maxim Ciucă hit a great ball. If Alexandru Simuţ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC VooDoo's goalkeeper Filip Panin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC VooDoo's Filip Panin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Jușcă in the 37th minute of play. If Alexandru Simuţ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nastase's Grigore Jușcă got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nastase's Cezar Nistorescu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes in the game, Alexandru Simuţ fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Filip Panin having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match Nicolae Encica sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narcis Lupescu skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codrin Domnescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC VooDoo's zone, Alexandru Simuţ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Panin came out of the goal and Alexandru Simuţ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Grigore Jușcă came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Nastase fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigore Jușcă couldn't finish the play. Nastase's Alexandru Simuţ got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Grigore Jușcă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Filip Panin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Nastase booed when FC VooDoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Ciucă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigore Jușcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Răzvan Encescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Panin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Filip Panin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Simuţ, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Alexandru Simuţ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Panin having to interfere. Grigore Jușcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Cezar Nistorescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the FC VooDoo defense, Alexandru Simuţ kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Panin. The FC VooDoo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Panin should have stopped the shot. Ion Ghețea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Alexandru Simuţ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Panin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
