After 8 minutes of play, Hotin's Valer Erbașu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horaţiu Hrușcă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nistor Iorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Hrușcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Iorga in the 14th minute of play. Nistor Iorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Horaţiu Hrușcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Hotin's Nistor Iorga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horaţiu Hrușcă was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute Valer Erbașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Hrușcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octav Lazăr struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Horaţiu Hrușcă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hotin. Octav Lazăr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horaţiu Hrușcă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Ioan Pandrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Socoriceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Nistor Iorga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Horaţiu Hrușcă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horaţiu Hrușcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Iorga in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Sergiu Povară kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ionică Socoriceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Pandrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Sergiu Povară hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BERCENI FC's Cristinel Gârdescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hotin. 69 minutes into the match, BERCENI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Iorga came free, but Horaţiu Hrușcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Hrușcă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Iorga's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Gigi Trif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octav Lazăr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergiu Povară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Hrușcă having to interfere. Horaţiu Hrușcă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Povară's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. When Gigi Trif fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BERCENI FC's protests and gave Gigi Trif a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BERCENI FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gigi Trif hit a great ball. Octav Lazăr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Hrușcă having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Lucian Vâtcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BERCENI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Ionică Socoriceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Pandrea in the 97th minute of the match.
