Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mihăiţă Coșereanu got the match started through his kick off. FC VooDoo's Olimpiu Drogoreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olimpiu Drogoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Mădălin Odobescu made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Olimpiu Drogoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC VooDoo's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Drogoreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Odobescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes FC VooDoo got a freekick which was hit by Vali Ţiţeica. 16 minutes into the match, FC VooDoo's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Ceaușu came free, but Filip Panin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Panin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Milescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codrin Domnescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mădălin Odobescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match FC VooDoo got a corner. Sochi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolae Encica ran over to the corner to take the kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codrin Domnescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Domnescu in the 52nd minute of play forced Sochi's goalkeeper Mădălin Odobescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Milescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Panin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ion Milescu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Olimpiu Drogoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC VooDoo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Drogoreanu couldn't finish the play. Olimpiu Drogoreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sochi defense, Codrin Domnescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mădălin Odobescu. The Sochi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Odobescu should have stopped the shot. Filip Panin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Coșereanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sochi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Olimpiu Drogoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Odobescu having to interfere. When Olimpiu Drogoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC VooDoo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Drogoreanu couldn't finish the play. Mădălin Odobescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Domnescu in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC VooDoo fully deserved thier win.
