Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nistor Iorga got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Barot booed when Hotin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Povară didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Ciolofan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Socoriceanu having to interfere. Barot's Vlad Vlădoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Iorga in the 14th minute of play. Tiberiu Vărzaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tudor Ciolofan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ionică Socoriceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiberiu Vărzaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barot booed when Hotin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Povară didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hotin's zone, Tudor Ciolofan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Socoriceanu came out of the goal and Tudor Ciolofan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes Barot got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Drilea. If Tudor Ciolofan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlad Vlădoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Povară in the 62nd minute of the match. Tudor Ciolofan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Socoriceanu having to interfere. Gheorghe Drilea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hotin succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Barot had controlled the match.
