In the 21st minute Cristinel Bianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Panin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vali Ţiţeica hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC VooDoo's Filip Panin got control of the ball when Lucrețiu Cândreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, FC VooDoo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucrețiu Cândreanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Spurs-România's Bogdan Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Domnescu in the 31st minute of play. Ernest Ungur charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Ungur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Spurs-România's Ernest Ungur got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Filip Panin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Bianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC VooDoo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Codrin Domnescu was the one to do the kick off. Codrin Domnescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bogdan Prunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spurs-România's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
