Eliodor Buciu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Costică Podgoreanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasile Abrudan skillfully saved the ball. Vasile Abrudan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Lixandru in the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Speranta's Cristian Aldescu got control of the ball when Nistor Chiriloaie tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, FC Albacora Suceava's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Lixandru came free, but Vasile Abrudan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Iustin Aldulea came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC Albacora Suceava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Aldulea couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Albacora Suceava getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cristian Bivolaru hit a great ball. FC Albacora Suceava's Vasile Abrudan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Lixandru in the 21st minute of play. Cristian Aldescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Aldulea, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacian Lixandru in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasile Abrudan saved FC Albacora Suceava from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Aldulea in the 32nd minute of play forced Speranta's goalkeeper Cristian Aldescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Marcu Găvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasile Abrudan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Ţugui kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th minute, Valeriu Bucuță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Speranta getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Flavius Olteanu hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Speranta's Marcu Găvan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vasile Abrudan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Găvan in the 60th minute of play forced FC Albacora Suceava's goalkeeper Vasile Abrudan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Eliodor Negara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Albacora Suceava and the Speranta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, FC Albacora Suceava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Negara to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Dacian Lixandru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Speranta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 85 minutes of play, Speranta's Aurel Ţugui made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vasile Abrudan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliodor Buciu during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Stelian Aluncai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Albacora Suceava's Vasile Abrudan got control of the ball when Dacian Lixandru tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Speranta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Albacora Suceava.
