Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gheorghe Aldescu made the kick off which started today's match. Petrică Nebunu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Nebunu in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusebiu Mitruț saved Ortisoara from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Licuriciul's goalkeeper Emilian Negrilă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matei Nițisor. 12 minutes into the match, Ortisoara's Gheorghe Aldescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilian Negrilă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Licuriciul's goalkeeper Emilian Negrilă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Aurelian Niculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Licuriciul's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Niculescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Mitruț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusebiu Mitruț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Niculescu in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Ortisoara booed when Licuriciul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Isăceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Negrilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Aldescu in the 23rd minute of the match. When Dorel Barbă fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ortisoara's protests and gave Dorel Barbă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Dorel Barbă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebiu Mitruț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrică Nebunu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gheorghe Aldescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilian Negrilă having to make a save. Ortisoara's Eusebiu Mitruț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ortisoara from getting a goal against them. Aurelian Niculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eusebiu Mitruț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Ortisoara got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Aldescu. Petrică Nebunu struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Eusebiu Mitruț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Licuriciul. Ortisoara's Eusebiu Mitruț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Niculescu in the 79th minute of play. Eusebiu Mitruț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Niculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Aurelian Niculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Petrică Nebunu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Licuriciul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrică Nebunu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aurelian Niculescu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Licuriciul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Niculescu couldn't finish the play. Aurelian Niculescu scored 0-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebiu Mitruț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Licuriciul's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
