Mugur Chificeac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Nistor Chiriloaie's late challenge caught a Unirea BFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nistor Chiriloaie helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, FC Albacora Suceava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Chiriloaie to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Albacora Suceava's Cristian Bivolaru got a free kick in the 25th minute. Emanuel Becheanu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Vasile Abrudan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unirea BFF. The supporters of Unirea BFF booed when FC Albacora Suceava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Mestecăneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Albacora Suceava's zone, George Cutean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasile Abrudan came out of the goal and George Cutean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ioan Pârlea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vasile Abrudan came out and tried to block the shot, but Ioan Pârlea slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 42nd minute. Vasile Abrudan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Becheanu's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustin Aldulea made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ioan Pârlea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Albacora Suceava's Vasile Abrudan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Albacora Suceava's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Aldulea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Chificeac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ioan Pârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vasile Abrudan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasile Abrudan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Becheanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Iustin Aldulea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Chificeac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Unirea BFF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
