If Lucian Mărculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, George Cutean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ioan Pârlea made a kick off. Ioan Pârlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Dumitru having to interfere. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unirea BFF's goalkeeper Mugur Chificeac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Unirea BFF's David Corlățean got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 59 minutes, Vintilă Busuioceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book.
