After 3 played minutes FC CONPLOIESTI got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Balaci. After a rather tough play, FC CONPLOIESTI's Cătălin Mihuleac got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Emil Mergea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Manea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Adam Bujor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rareș Romoşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Potra, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Emil Mergea struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Răzvan Manea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Livezeni AC. If Emil Mergea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Răzvan Manea came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Livezeni AC's Emil Mergea. But to his dismay, Emil Mergea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Răzvan Manea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Paraschiv in the 26th minute of the match. Emil Mergea scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Răzvan Manea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Mergea in the 38th minute of play forced FC CONPLOIESTI's goalkeeper Răzvan Manea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Livezeni AC got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Dumitrescu. After some careless play in the FC CONPLOIESTI defense, Emil Mergea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Răzvan Manea. The FC CONPLOIESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Răzvan Manea should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Potra to strike the kick off in the second half. Emil Beligan's late challenge caught a Livezeni AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Beligan helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Paraschiv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Manea having to interfere. The supporters of FC CONPLOIESTI booed when Livezeni AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Bogdănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC CONPLOIESTI's Răzvan Manea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC CONPLOIESTI from getting a goal against them. During the 75th minute of the match Emil Beligan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emil Beligan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 76th match minute, FC CONPLOIESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Beligan to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Ionică Bute hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Paraschiv took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Manea. Răzvan Manea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Bogdănescu during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eric Bogdănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Răzvan Manea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Paraschiv in the 91st minute. With a little luck, FC CONPLOIESTI's Răzvan Manea got control of the ball when Martin Paraschiv tried to sneak it across the goal line. Livezeni AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
