The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Manea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iustinian Zbereanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Manea having to interfere. Emil Beligan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Balaci got free with Marius Coja in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adam Angheluță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Manea having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Denis Potra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Denis Potra came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC CONPLOIESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Potra couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC CONPLOIESTI's Emil Beligan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Adam Angheluță took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Manea. Răzvan Manea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 37 minutes of play, FC HERMANNSTADT's Iustinian Zbereanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Răzvan Manea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodor Papaiani kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC HERMANNSTADT's Marius Coja got control of the ball when Mădălin Junilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Răzvan Manea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Angheluță in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Potra made a kick off. A collision led to FC HERMANNSTADT getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Irinel Oproiu hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Mădălin Junilă shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marius Coja showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Adam Angheluță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC HERMANNSTADT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Angheluță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucrețiu Balaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristi Arseanu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Mădălin Junilă took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marius Coja. FC HERMANNSTADT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gigi Alb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Răzvan Manea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Adam Angheluță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Iustinian Zbereanu came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC HERMANNSTADT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Zbereanu couldn't finish the play. FC CONPLOIESTI's Răzvan Manea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Angheluță in the 88th minute of play. Iustinian Zbereanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Răzvan Manea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC HERMANNSTADT walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
