Iustinian Zbereanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugur Chificeac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Angheluță in the 11th minute of play. Cristi Arseanu's late challenge caught a Unirea BFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristi Arseanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, FC HERMANNSTADT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Arseanu to maneuver through the defense. FC HERMANNSTADT's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ioan Pârlea 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. A hard shot by Manole Hagi from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Marius Coja's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. FC HERMANNSTADT's Marius Coja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC HERMANNSTADT from getting a goal against them. When Ioan Pârlea came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Unirea BFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioan Pârlea couldn't finish the play. Marius Coja made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ioan Pârlea sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Unirea BFF's George Cutean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marius Coja. Marius Coja yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Marius Coja came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Unirea BFF's Ioan Pârlea. But to his dismay, Ioan Pârlea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. FC HERMANNSTADT's Marius Coja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC HERMANNSTADT from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Becheanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Coja having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Ioan Pârlea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unirea BFF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Marius Coja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Pârlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Ioan Pârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unirea BFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ioan Pârlea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marius Coja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ioan Pârlea went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Emanuel Becheanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iustinian Zbereanu came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC HERMANNSTADT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Zbereanu couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Unirea BFF's zone, Adam Angheluță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Chificeac came out of the goal and Adam Angheluță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unirea BFF's goalkeeper Mugur Chificeac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Unirea BFF's goalkeeper Mugur Chificeac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustinian Zbereanu. In the 85th match minute, Unirea BFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Becheanu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Pârlea in the 90th minute of play forced FC HERMANNSTADT's goalkeeper Marius Coja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigi Alb got free with Mugur Chificeac in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unirea BFF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
