Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Denis Potra started the match with the kick off. Valer Zdrelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Potra in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Ioan Axinia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 5 minutes, Lucrețiu Balaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC CONPLOIESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucrețiu Balaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Iurie Beniuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iurie Beniuc got free with Răzvan Manea in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 15 in the game by Iurie Beniuc from a close distance when the talented Răzvan Manea managed to make a qualified save. FC CONPLOIESTI's players were relieved. Lucrețiu Balaci struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Valer Zdrelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC CONPLOIESTI. Răzvan Manea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Jienescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Denis Potra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Potra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Zdrelea having to interfere.

After a defensive mix-up in FC CONPLOIESTI's zone, Francisc Jienescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Răzvan Manea came out of the goal and Francisc Jienescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Bujor kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Francisc Jienescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Răzvan Manea was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Iurie Beniuc struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Răzvan Manea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Udvarhelyi. 59 minutes into the game, Adam Bujor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC CONPLOIESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Udvarhelyi the free kick. Emil Beligan's late challenge caught a Udvarhelyi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Beligan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, FC CONPLOIESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Beligan to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Iurie Beniuc put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Răzvan Manea. FC CONPLOIESTI's Răzvan Manea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Jienescu in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th minute Ivan Mustea suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mădălin Junilă during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, FC CONPLOIESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Junilă to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC CONPLOIESTI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Udvarhelyi.
