The tension between the Hust SC and the AC Sebes Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AC Sebes Eagles booed when Hust SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Drâmbă didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Sebes Eagles's Andrei Vâlcu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AC Sebes Eagles from getting a goal against them. Andrei Vâlcu made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Emilian Fărcașu sent off a good shot on target. Emilian Fărcașus short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Andrei Vâlcu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 11 played minutes AC Sebes Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Chiriacescu. In the 16th match minute, Hust SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Drâmbă to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes AC Sebes Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Chiriacescu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Merișor during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Codruț Chiriacescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Paul Slătineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Slătineanu came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Sebes Eagles's Remus Colin. But to his dismay, Remus Colin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emilian Fărcașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Vâlcu having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Hust SC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Latarețu came free, but Paul Slătineanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Fărcașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Andrei Vâlcu made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the match, Hust SC's goalkeeper Paul Slătineanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Colin. Andrei Vâlcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Fărcașu in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, AC Sebes Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Bouleanu came free, but Andrei Vâlcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Fărcașu in the 60th minute of play forced AC Sebes Eagles's goalkeeper Andrei Vâlcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the AC Sebes Eagles defense, Emilian Fărcașu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrei Vâlcu. The AC Sebes Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrei Vâlcu should have stopped the shot. Emilian Fărcașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Andrei Vâlcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AC Sebes Eagles getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Codruț Chiriacescu hit a great ball. Andrei Vâlcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Fărcașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Andrei Vâlcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrei Vâlcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Fărcașu in the 93rd minute of play. Hust SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
