Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anton Latarețu got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Codruț Chiriacescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionel Bălășescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Andrei Vâlcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ionel Bălășescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Ionel Bălășescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrincioaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionel Bălășescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes, Dumitru Brezoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vrincioaia and the AC Sebes Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Vrincioaia got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Brezoi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionel Bălășescu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Vâlcu saved AC Sebes Eagles from getting behind. After 23 minutes, Augustin Ştercă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vrincioaia and the AC Sebes Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vrincioaia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Augustin Ştercă hit a great ball. Anton Latarețu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Dumitru Brezoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Vâlcu. AC Sebes Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Brezoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ionel Bălășescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Dumitru Brezoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vrincioaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Brezoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Vâlcu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionel Bălășescu in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Vâlcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dumitru Brezoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remus Colin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Brumă having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AC Sebes Eagles's Martin Bârlea got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Vrincioaia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dumitru Brezoi to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Vrincioaia defense, Codruț Chiriacescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horaţiu Brumă. The Vrincioaia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horaţiu Brumă should have stopped the shot. Remus Colin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doru Merișor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in AC Sebes Eagles's zone, Dumitru Brezoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Vâlcu came out of the goal and Dumitru Brezoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionel Bălășescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Vrincioaia's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Colin came free, but Horaţiu Brumă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Brumă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Latarețu in the 99th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
