Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) 4 minutes into the match, Maxim Negură dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ionuț Hârțan, 1-0. When Sever Stoian came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the ispi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Stoian couldn't finish the play. Francisc Bărbulescu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Corneliu Romulus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Lipan having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, ispi's Corneliu Romulus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxim Lipan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Corneliu Romulus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ispi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Augustin Cocea kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Corneliu Romulus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Lipan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maxim Negură had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aron Iliuță during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, ispi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Iliuță to maneuver through the defense. Santioana's Francisc Bărbulescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ionuț Hârțan but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Negură in the 33rd minute of play forced ispi's goalkeeper Ionuț Hârțan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisc Bărbulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, ispi's Valeriu Secară tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maxim Lipan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Romulus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Corneliu Romulus made the kick off in the second half. Corneliu Romulus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxim Lipan having to make a save. The supporters of Santioana booed when ispi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Drilea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, one of ispi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ispi. Francisc Bărbulescu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ionuț Hârțan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Jupân, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sever Stoian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxim Negură received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ionuț Hârțan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Maxim Negură shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Hârțan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sever Stoian struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Maxim Lipan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ispi. With 85 minutes on the clock, Horea Lupea commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Sever Stoian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Maxim Lipan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Corneliu Romulus came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ispi fans jumped to their feet. Sever Stoian in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maxim Lipan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aron Iliuță was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, ispi's Aron Iliuță got a free kick in the 98th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ispi's zone, Niculae Jupân stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionuț Hârțan came out of the goal and Niculae Jupân tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ispi played a much better game than Santioana and deserved their victory. The Santioana players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
