The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iulian Fărcașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, fcrapid's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Horhoianu came free, but Iordache Dobrescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iulian Fărcașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Iordache Dobrescu made a huge save. Maxim Petrică hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Teen Wolf Titans's Mihăiţă Horhoianu, in the 10th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Teen Wolf Titans. Iulian Fărcașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cornel Daria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alin Stănciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Dragușin in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Daria in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alin Stănciulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Costel Vochin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Dobrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Horhoianu in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Mihăiţă Horhoianu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Costel Vochin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, fcrapid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Tunaru to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurel Dragușin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Nistor Dascălu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to fcrapid getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bogdan Tunaru hit a great ball. Filip Mincu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Dobrescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. When Aurel Dragușin fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fcrapid's protests and gave Aurel Dragușin a yellow card for diving instead. Aurel Dragușin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Iulian Fărcașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Iordache Dobrescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Fărcașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Dobrescu having to interfere. The fcrapid fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when fcrapid's Aurel Dragușin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Teen Wolf Titans supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching fcrapid's performance. The match ended with a win for fcrapid.
