An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Platon in the 9th minute of play forced FC Red Team's goalkeeper Dorel Dichiseanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorel Dichiseanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Dinculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Mihnea Becheanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Pușcariu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Bucovina getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Costel Voina hit a great ball. Laurențiu Dejeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dumitru Trifu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, FC Red Team's Laurențiu Dejeu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Trifu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 23 played minutes FC Bucovina got a freekick which was hit by Costel Voina. In the 37th minute of the match Denis Dinu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dumitru Trifu skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Iosif Enache sped through FC Bucovina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dumitru Trifu. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurențiu Dejeu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Valeriu Vişoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Dinculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bucovina's zone, Laurențiu Dejeu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dumitru Trifu came out of the goal and Laurențiu Dejeu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionuț Pârâianu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Laurențiu Dejeu came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC Red Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Dejeu couldn't finish the play. In the 75th match minute, FC Red Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Erbașu to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Victor Dinculescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dorel Dichiseanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the game, Costel Voina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bucovina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Red Team the free kick. Dumitru Trifu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valeriu Vişoiu went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. If Victor Dinculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute of the match Mihnea Becheanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dumitru Trifu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
