In the 19th minute, Dorel Gurzău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Horia Bourceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Mâinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Horia Bourceanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radu Mâinea. FC Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horia Bourceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mihail Şandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mihail Şandru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radu Mâinea was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Radu Mâinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Şandru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35th play minutes Horia Bourceanu shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Radu Mâinea and just under the crossbar into goal. Horia Bourceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes FC Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Buligan. When Fenispatoc's Horia Bourceanu in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Martin Tăzlăuanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Băbescu having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, FC Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Şandru came free, but Radu Mâinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isac Sucigan was the one to do the kick off. Manole Băbescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Tăzlăuanu in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Mihail Şandru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Radu Mâinea managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Fenispatoc's Horia Bourceanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Toader Grecu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mihail Şandru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, FC Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Buligan to maneuver through the defense. Fenispatoc's Manole Băbescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Sucigan in the 69th minute of play. Horia Bourceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leontin Jitaru's late challenge caught a Fenispatoc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leontin Jitaru helped the player get up and apologised. Radu Mâinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Şandru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Juniors's Daniel Buligan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horia Bourceanu in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radu Mâinea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horia Bourceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Radu Mâinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Şandru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horia Bourceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute Mihail Şandru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Mâinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Tăzlăuanu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Manole Băbescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Juniors. When the final whistle sounded Fenispatoc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Juniors.
