The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manole Băbescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Pârâianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Manole Băbescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Voina's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the FC Bucovina defense, Horia Bourceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dumitru Trifu. The FC Bucovina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dumitru Trifu should have stopped the shot. If Mihail Şandru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihail Şandru kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Şandru in the 18th minute of play forced FC Bucovina's goalkeeper Dumitru Trifu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Şandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumitru Trifu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Şandru in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Fenispatoc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Cândrea to maneuver through the defense. Fenispatoc's Manole Băbescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Platon in the 29th minute of play. When Fenispatoc's Mihail Şandru in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bucovina's goalie prevented a goal. Dumitru Trifu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavril Cândrea went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Horia Bourceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumitru Trifu came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fenispatoc's Gavril Cândrea. But to his dismay, Gavril Cândrea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to FC Bucovina getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Ionuț Pârâianu hit a great ball. 50 minutes into the match, Fenispatoc's Dorel Gurzău broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pompiliu Platon to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Fenispatoc's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Platon came free, but Manole Băbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Dumitru Trifu managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Fenispatoc's Horia Bourceanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mihail Şandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Trifu having to interfere. FC Bucovina's Dumitru Trifu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Şandru in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Şandru in the 68th minute of play forced FC Bucovina's goalkeeper Dumitru Trifu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Şandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Trifu having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bucovina's goalkeeper Dumitru Trifu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manole Băbescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Platon in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Bucovina's Gelu Cobâlcescu got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Mihail Şandru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mihail Şandru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dumitru Trifu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Horia Bourceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenispatoc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Bourceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bucovina's goalkeeper Dumitru Trifu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, FC Bucovina's goalkeeper Dumitru Trifu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horia Bourceanu. Mihail Şandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Trifu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Mihail Şandru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenispatoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Şandru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Trifu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Ionuț Pârâianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihail Şandru got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fenispatoc's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
