The FC Bucovina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dumitru Trifu should have stopped the shot. FC Bucovina's Dumitru Trifu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Enache in the 41st minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Dumitru Trifu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Dejeu in the 52nd minute of play. Iosif Enaches short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Dumitru Trifu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dan Pușcariu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Iosif Enache could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Dumitru Trifu however easily saved by the left post. Dumitru Trifu made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Iosif Enache sent off a good shot on target. Laurențiu Panaitoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dumitru Trifu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Gelu Cobâlcescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bucovina and the FC Red Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dorel Dichiseanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valeriu Vişoiu during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valeriu Vişoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Bucovina fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Red Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
