Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laurențiu Hidiș started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Oreuou got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Capșuneanu. Gheorghe Hăvârneanu shot from long distance in the 4th minute, but Francisc Ilarie was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Oreuou's Vintilă Perișoară got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurențiu Hidiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Comăneci having to interfere. When Costel Gherghe fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN's protests and gave Costel Gherghe a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN got a freekick which was hit by Costel Gherghe. The audience was convinced that Octav Baldovin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisc Ilarie was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Vintilă Perișoară made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Comăneci. F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, Oreuou's Laurențiu Hidiș made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Comăneci was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Francisc Ilarie managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN's Manole Maghiar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Octavian Comăneci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Perișoară in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Costel Gherghe hit a great ball. Vintilă Perișoară recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st match minute, F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Perșa to maneuver through the defense. Octavian Comăneci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Hidiș in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezar Perșa during the 33rd minute. Vintilă Perișoară received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Octavian Comăneci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octav Baldovin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A well-hit corner resulted in Rareș Panescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Manole Maghiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panait Bocaneț kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN's Gheorghe Hăvârneanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Oreuou. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Hidiș in the 61st minute of play forced F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN's goalkeeper Octavian Comăneci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Comăneci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Hidiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Laurențiu Hidiș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Comăneci was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Vintilă Perișoară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Comăneci having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Laurențiu Hidiș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Octavian Comăneci, 0-4. Vintilă Perișoară's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavian Comăneci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Octavian Comăneci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Hidiș in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurențiu Hidiș in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Comăneci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Capșuneanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavian Comăneci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Octavian Comăneci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Șora in the 97th minute of play. Oreuou played a much better game than F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN and deserved their victory. The F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
