Cristian Plopeanu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Aruncuta's Iordache Arosculesei. But to his dismay, Iordache Arosculesei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Plugari's Alex Griguță got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Mădălin Novac sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Plopeanu skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Arosculesei in the 37th minute of play forced Plugari's goalkeeper Cristian Plopeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aruncuta's Emilian Târlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Cobzeanu in the 38th minute of play. Emilian Târlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Cobzeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Valer Nicodim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Semeghin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cristian Plopeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionuț Cobzeanu was the one to do the kick off. Emilian Târlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Cobzeanu in the 56th minute of the match. Iordache Arosculesei came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristian Plopeanu could save by the left post. The Plugari fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Plugari's Ionuț Cobzeanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 71st minute Dan Semeghin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Plopeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aruncuta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mădălin Novac in the 73rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Octavian Obreja heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Valer Nicodim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plugari's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dan Semeghin 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2.
