Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Cristian Duțulescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dorin Aluchei kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Iustinian Mitrofan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Duțulescu's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Paul Ivan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Burdujan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Iustinian Mitrofan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Cosmin Măgurean sent off a good shot on target. Iustinian Mitrofan came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Spatarei's Robert Mahonea. But to his dismay, Robert Mahonea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 30th minute Cristian Duțulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Mitrofan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes, BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA-'s Mădălin Muntian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iosif Burdujan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- reached it. Cosmin Iovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Burdujan having to interfere. In the 39th minute Cosmin Iovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Burdujan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Spatarei getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Robert Mahonea hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA-'s Paul Ivan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iosif Burdujan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Paul Ivan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Burdujan having to interfere. Iosif Burdujan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Iovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Cosmin Iovan made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Paul Ivan could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Iosif Burdujan however easily saved by the left post. When BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA-'s Cosmin Iovan in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spatarei's goalie prevented a goal. Iosif Burdujan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosmin Iovan's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Cosmin Iovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Paul Ivan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Ivan couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- defense, Cosmin Măgurean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iustinian Mitrofan. The BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iustinian Mitrofan should have stopped the shot. Cristian Duțulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Iustinian Mitrofan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosmin Măgurean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustinian Mitrofan having to interfere. Paul Ivan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosmin Măgurean in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iustinian Mitrofan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iosif Burdujan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Iovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Spatarei could leave the field as winners, despite BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- having more of the ball for most of the match.
