In the 13th match minute, BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Muntian to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Cristinel Bocu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iustinian Mitrofan skillfully saved the ball. Alexandra cr's Petre David played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Ivan in the 36th minute of play. Iustinian Mitrofan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Moșanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costel Tarchilă got free with Iustinian Mitrofan in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandra cr's Petre David played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Iovan in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosmin Iovan was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA- got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Mudura. Costel Tarchilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BATALIONUL 20 -STEAUA-'s Niculae Mudura got a free kick in the 86th minute.
