Alexandru Eftimiu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Gheorghe Aristide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASESOFT. Alexandru Eftimiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gheorghe Aristide having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

AC Timisoara BTV's Gheorghe Aristide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Timisoara BTV from getting a goal against them. Gheorghe Aristide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Stafie in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Codrin Iovulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, ASESOFT's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Mardare came free, but Marian Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugur Mardare scored 2-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Senin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Alexandru Eftimiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASESOFT's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandru Eftimiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gheorghe Aristide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded ASESOFT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AC Timisoara BTV.
