Moise Drăgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Pătrus short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Moise Drăgan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Moise Aldulescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moise Drăgan. That made the score 4-1 in the 25 minute of play. Remus Gâgea's late challenge caught a Suricarul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remus Gâgea helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Pitangeles got a freekick which was hit by Remus Gâgea. Vasile Ciorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Drăgan having to interfere. When Pitangeles's Vasile Ciorbea in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Suricarul's goalie prevented a goal. Nicu Pătru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Moise Drăgan made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Suricarul's Lucrețiu Mascovescu got a free kick in the 37th minute. Moise Drăgan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 5-1. Moise Drăgan made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Nicu Pătru sent off a good shot on target. Remus Gâgea struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Codrin Drăgoescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moise Drăgan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Codrin Drăgoescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 57 minutes, Remus Gâgea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pitangeles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Gâgea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moise Drăgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Drăgoescu in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Codrin Drăgoescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitangeles's supporters rose to their feet, but Codrin Drăgoescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Drăgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Lucrețiu Mascovescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nicu Pătru came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pitangeles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Pătru couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Nicu Pătru managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicu Pătru in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moise Drăgan saved Suricarul from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Suricarul's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Ciorbea came free, but Moise Drăgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moise Drăgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Ciorbea in the 80th minute of the match. A hard shot by Andrei Stănciulaş from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Octavian Vătăşel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Remus Gâgea struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Moise Drăgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pitangeles. If Remus Gâgea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Pitangeles were the better team. Pitangeles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
