Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Damian Cazimir started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 5 minutes, Paul Balotă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC National 1944's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Balotă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC National 1944's Dan Homeag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Diculescu in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC National 1944's zone, Ivan Dumitru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Homeag came out of the goal and Ivan Dumitru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Cazimir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Iosif Gabrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Jacul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Manciu to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game Horia Melinte kicked a great long shot which passed Iosif Gabrea straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-1. One couldn't see Horia Melinte behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. 29 minutes into the match, FC National 1944's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Dumitru came free, but Dan Homeag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC National 1944's Horia Melinte got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The audience held their breath when Damian Brezeanu in the 35th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Dan Homeag's left hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Cazimir in the 40th minute of play forced Jacul's goalkeeper Iosif Gabrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Homeag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Diculescu in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Jacul's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Balotă came free, but Iosif Gabrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Dumitru to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Niculae Râmniceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Jacul's Sebastian Diculescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Homeag made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Damian Cazimir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Diculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosif Gabrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Zăvoianu in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Sebastian Diculescu notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC National 1944's Dan Homeag. Dan Homeag was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paul Balotă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Gabrea having to interfere. When Sebastian Diculescu came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Jacul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Diculescu couldn't finish the play. Doru Zăvoianu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC National 1944's zone, Ivan Dumitru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Homeag came out of the goal and Ivan Dumitru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jacul had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
