Mihail Curta scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Traian Cucerzan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicodim Doloman in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Traian Cucerzan saved Studena CSS from getting behind. Nae Maxim took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sorin Pencu. Sorin Pencu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Doina FC's Sorin Pencu got control of the ball when Nae Maxim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sorin Pencu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nae Maxim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 16 minute of play. A collision led to Studena CSS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Horaţiu Ţipirig hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mihail Curta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Curta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Studena CSS's zone, Nicodim Doloman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Traian Cucerzan came out of the goal and Nicodim Doloman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicodim Doloman to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Doina FC's Nicodim Doloman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Traian Cucerzan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Lucian Sădeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Irinel Cămărășescu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Codruț Uncheşelu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Traian Cucerzan made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mihail Curta managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Studena CSS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Doina FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
