Sorin Pencu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Cosor, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Marius Levința hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Doina FC got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Novac. Sorin Pencu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Levința, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Doina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Pogea to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Ghișerel struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sorin Pencu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlashers. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dorel Petcu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 56th minute, one of Doina FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Doina FC. In the 57th minute of the game, Vlashers got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Sorin Pencu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Levința, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Sorin Pencu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Doina FC booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Stelaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihail Curta kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vlashers's Marius Levința slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sorin Pencu. That made the score 1-4 after 72 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Chiliman during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 78 minutes into the match, Doina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Levința came free, but Sorin Pencu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Vlashers's Sorin Pencu threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marius Levința, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Doina FC's Sorin Pencu got control of the ball when Nechifor Cosor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vlashers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Giurăscu in the 93rd minute. Vlashers played a much better game than Doina FC and deserved their victory. The Doina FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
