The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petru Bute to strike the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Rusu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Doinaș got free with Sorin Pencu in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 played minutes, Doina FC's Vasile Novac shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mihai Rusu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Doina FC reached it. 61 minutes into the game, Doina FC's Mihail Curta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihai Rusu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Claudiu Doinaș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Sorin Pencu made a huge save. Mihail Curta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, FC Vlahuță was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Bidari to maneuver through the defense. Mihai Rusu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Doloman in the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Claudiu Doinaș notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Doina FC's Sorin Pencu. Sorin Pencu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudiu Doinaș took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sorin Pencu. Sorin Pencu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Radu Drăgan charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radu Drăgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Doina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Drăgan to maneuver through the defense. Doina FC's Sorin Pencu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Doina FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded FC Vlahuță left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Doina FC.
