Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sabin Nechifor kicked off to start the match. Iacob Florean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Nechifor in the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Marcel Pârvuță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costică Gavrilescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Espada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Andrei Hidișan struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Mugurel Graur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sat. Iacob Florean came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Espada's Costică Gavrilescu. But to his dismay, Costică Gavrilescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Espada getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ionel Albeanu hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Sabin Nechifor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iacob Florean didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Hidișan in the 31st minute of play forced Espada's goalkeeper Mugurel Graur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Sat got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Melinte. Espada's Răzvan Dărmănescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Iacob Florean but with some difficulty. If Costică Gavrilescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrei Hidișan to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Costică Gavrilescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espada's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Gavrilescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Florean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sat's Marcel Pârvuță got a free kick in the 57th minute. George Durbacă hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ionel Albeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espada's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Albeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Florean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd match minute, Sat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Pârvuță to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Nechifor in the 68th minute of play forced Sat's goalkeeper Iacob Florean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Hidișan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mugurel Graur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Costică Gavrilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Florean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Espada's Sandu Oprescu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sebastian Tăzlăuanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Graur having to interfere. Andrei Hidișan struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Mugurel Graur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sat. Mugurel Graur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Tăzlăuanu in the 84th minute. Iordache Bociort hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Sabin Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Florean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Costică Gavrilescu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Espada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Gavrilescu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Sat defense, Sabin Nechifor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Florean. The Sat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Florean should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sat players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Espada.
