An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Răducu in the 4th minute of play forced Sat's goalkeeper Iacob Florean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Sebastian Tăzlăuanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Tăzlăuanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrei Hidișan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Aanuţei having to interfere. Mihnea Aanuţei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Hidișan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sat getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ivan Balint hit a great ball. Sebastian Tăzlăuanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrei Hidișan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mihnea Aanuţei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Potopea in the 25th minute of play forced Sat's goalkeeper Iacob Florean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Ruginoasa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Hidișan came free, but Mihnea Aanuţei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Răducu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Florean having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ruginoasa FC's zone, Andrei Hidișan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihnea Aanuţei came out of the goal and Andrei Hidișan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Tăzlăuanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihai Răducu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mihai Răducu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrei Hidișan to make the kick off. Ciprian Potopea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Ciprian Potopea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andrei Hidișan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Durbacă kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciprian Potopea got free with Iacob Florean in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihai Răducu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Iacob Florean 81 minutes into the match. The Ruginoasa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ruginoasa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
