Cosmin Logofătu was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some careless play in the Niscov AFC defense, Cezar Mustățea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mugurel Urdoi. The Niscov AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mugurel Urdoi should have stopped the shot. Mugurel Urdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Țepeluș, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Mugurel Urdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Mustățea in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Sandu Berca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Urdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Cezar Mustățea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugurel Urdoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 97th minute, Iustin Negrescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Macai were the better team. Macai's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
